The Brotherhood Ride

In honoring fallen emergency first responders, Steve McCarthy, one of our Hazmat Instructors and a retired Pinellas Park Firefighter, is championing the cause of the Brotherhood Ride 2023. Having been an active participant in the Brotherhood Ride since 2017, Steve is passionate about the mission of providing emotional and financial support to the families of heroes who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

A Tradition of Tribute and Support

The Brotherhood Ride traces its roots back to a group of Fort Myers Firefighters who embarked on a nine-day ride from Fort Myers to Charleston after the tragic Charleston 9 fire. Their purpose was clear: to remember the fallen and raise funds for the families left behind. This tradition continues annually, and this year, the ride is dedicated to the 28 Florida First Responders who lost their lives in 2022. The team of riders will be covering 600 miles over nine days, starting from Naples on October 27th and concluding in Miami on November 4th.

How You Can Contribute

Steve McCarthy is reaching out to the community, seeking support for this noble cause. Every contribution, regardless of its size, plays a significant role in providing much-needed assistance to the families of these brave individuals. Donations will be used to offer both emotional and financial aid, ensuring that the families of fallen heroes do not face their challenges alone. Every donation is deeply appreciated and goes directly to supporting the families of our fallen heroes.
